Anushka Sharma (pronounced [əˈnʊʂkaː ˈʃərmaː]; born 1 May 1988) is an Indian actress and film producer who appears in Bollywood films. She has received one Filmfare Award from four nominations.She played a television journalist in Rajkumar Hirani's comedy-drama PK (2014)—the highest-grossing Indian film of all time, and in 2015 she produced and starred in the thriller NH10. These accomplishments have established her in Bollywood.As of March 2015, Sharma has three upcoming projects. She will star in Anurag Kashyap's period romance Bombay Velvet, opposite Ranbir Kapoor, which is scheduled for release in May 2015.She has also completed work on Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do, a drama about a dysfunctional Punjabi family, co-starring Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar, and Priyanka Chopra, in which Sharma will play Singh's love interest.In addition, Sharma has committed to star alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Karan Johar's romantic drama Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
