Kavya Shetty is an Indian film actress and model. Starting her career as a fashion model, she took part at the 2011 Femina Miss India beauty pageant. She went on to work as a commercial model, before venturing into acting, debuting in the 2013 Kannada film Nam Duniya Nam Style.In 2012, Kavya entered the Indian film industry. She first signed for the Kannada romance film I am in Love and for Shivani, a bilingual horror flick, made in Telugu and Tamil,in which she played a journalist.However, the delay of both films meant that Shetty's maiden release was the Kannada film Nam Duniya Nam Style (2013) by Preetham Gubbi.While the film received mixed reviews, critics noted that Shetty had "given (a) lively performance" and "show(n) tremendous promise".I am in Love had a low-profile release two months later.Her future releases include the romantic thriller Natudu, her first Telugu project, in which plays the role of a medical student,the Tamil film Avam and the semi-period Kannada film Vijayaaditya.she has also been cast as one of the female leads in A.
