Tanishaa Mukerji (born 3 March 1981) is an Indian film actress and television presenter. She participated in the television reality show Bigg Boss 7 and was the first runner up.Tanisha Mukherjee was born on March 3, 1981 to Shomu Mukherjee and Tanuja. She is the younger sister of actress Kajol and actor Ajay Devgan is her brother-in-law. She is 7 years younger to Kajol. Her cousins are Rani Mukherjee, Sharbani Mukherjee and Mohnish Behl, who are also Bollywood actors, whereas her cousin Ayan Mukerji is a director. Her paternal grandfather Sashadhar Mukherjee, was a film director and producer in the Bombay film industry and was regarded as a stalwart. Tanisha's grandmother Satirani Devi was the sister of three great film personalities Ashok Kumar, Anup Kumar and Kishore Kumar. Joy Mukherjee and Deb Mukherjee are her uncles.
