Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, credited as Lakshmi Manchu, is an Indian film actress, producer and television presenter.Daughter of actor Mohan Babu, she studied in the US and appeared in very minor roles in a couple of American television shows and films, before acting in Indian films, mostly in Telugu cinema. She also produces films under the banners Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and Manchu Entertainment and has hosted talk shows in Telugu television.Manchu became the mother of a baby girl through surrogacy in June 2014. The baby was born at Akansha Infertility Clinic at 12:30 pm on 15 June 2014.
