Manisha Koirala (Nepali: मनिषा कोइराला) is a Nepalese actress, who works mainly on Bollywood as well as a UNFPA Goodwill Ambassador and social activist.Koirala has primarily worked in Bollywood, though she appeared in several Nepali, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films as well. She is also a Bharatnatyam and Manipuri dancer. She made her acting debut in the Nepali film Pheri Bhetaula (1989).In 2012, she was re-teamed with director Ram Gopal Verma for his 3D horror film Bhoot Returns which is a sequel to 2003 hit Bhoot which was a critical and commercial failure. In 2015, Manisha was signed to play Kamal’s wife in the movie Cheekati Rajyam.She is currently shooting Cheekati Rajyam with Kamal Hassan and Trisha.
