She represented India at Miss International 2014.Jhataleka was born in Mumbai India to a Punjabi family,she is the younger of 2 siblings. She did her schooling from Arya Vidya Mandir Juhu, Mumbai and further pursued her BMS from MMK college in Mumbai India. She is currently a Miss India title holder.She competed In Miss International 2014 And Won Miss Internet Beauty Award at the pageant and her national costume was the 3rd Runner up (designed by Melvyn Noronha).
