Nimrat Kaur (born 13 March 1982) is an Indian actress. She began her career as a print model in Mumbai and then started working as an theater actress. After appearing in small film roles, Kaur starred in Anurag Kashyap's production Peddlers, screened at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, followed by The Lunchbox with Irfan Khan, which was screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. She now stars in Showtime's TV series Homeland playing the role of Tasneem Qureshi, an ISI Agent.Kaur has signed on to appear in a recurring role for the fourth season of the American TV series Homeland,and also in Saurabh Shukla's untitled psychological drama with Rajkummar Rao.She has acted in a movie with the khiladi Akshay Kumar named Airlift.The shooting began on 21st Feb 2015 and is slated to release on 22nd January 2016.
