Bhavya (Kannada: ಭವ್ಯ), born as Bharathi, is a South Indian actress. She has acted in several Kannada and a few Tamil and Telugu movies, totaling over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry. She played the lead actress roles for over 100 feature films and switched over to the supporting character roles post year 2000.She is now settled in Mumbai, India and travels frequently to Bangalore during her shoots.From 2004 till date, Bhavya has switched over to character roles mainly playing mother to the lead actors. Monalisa, Sajini, Moorkha were the first few films of Bhavya as a character artist. She has also worked in Television daily series such as Durga.
