Vadivelu is an Indian Tamil film actor and playback singer. Since the early 1990s, he has acted as a comedian in various Tamil films. During his career, Vadivelu has won several Filmfare Awards and Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. He is well known for his slapstick comedies. He has acted in over 275 films, all of them being Tamil films with the exception of one Malayalam film Lucky Jokers. He has also acted as a hero in three films till date, Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi and Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan and Tenaliraman.
